Policy document – You should read the document carefully when you receive it. It gives you full details of what is and is not covered and the conditions of cover.

Conditions, Exclusions – Conditions and exclusions will apply to individual sections of your policy, but please also refer to the general exclusions, conditions and warranties which will apply to the whole of your policy.

Health – Your policy contains restrictions regarding pre-existing medical conditions and concerns the health of the people upon whom the wedding may depend.

Property Claims – These are based on the value of the goods at the time you lose them and not on a ‘new for old’ or replacement cost basis.

Policy Excesses – Most sections of your policy have limits on the amount the insurers will pay under that section. Some sections also include other specific limits, for example daily limits.

Reasonable Care – You need to take all reasonable care to protect yourself and your property

Complaints – Your insurance will contain a complaints procedure which tells you what steps you can take if you wish to make a complaint.

Main Exclusions – Pre-existing medical conditions / Wear & Tear / Losses that you can not properly prove / Your failure to obtain the required Visa.

Cancellation cover
We will reimburse your irrecoverable expenses incurred by the necessary cancellation of the wedding ceremony or reception for reasons out of your control limited to:-

• The death, injury, illness of the bride, groom or a close family relative
• The redundancy of the bride, groom or close family relative
• Ceremony or reception venue being unable ot hold the function
• The posting abroad or a serving member of the UK armed forces
• Adverse weather conditions that make the ceremony or reception venue inaccessible

Additional Expenses
We will reimburse you for any additional expenses for alternative services incurred to avoid the necessary cancellation of the wedding due to an insured cause.

Wedding Attire – Up to £2,000
Accidental loss of or damage to ceremonial attire whilst in the possession of the insured, bride, bridegroom or a close relative, which occures prior to and during the wedding ceremony.
